Artifact: Showcase an assessment created and include what method was used to assess the validity, reliability, and security.
Answer: What process was used to determine the validity, reliability, and security of the assessment? What was the result?
As far as validity, the questions created for this assessment were directly related to the content being taught in class. Since this was a pre-assessment, the score did not count and instead was meant to show students their current level of knowledge. The questions were kept secret beforehand and students were only aware that they were taking a pre-assessment that day. Additionally, the assessment can be considered reliable and valid because it was followed up with a post-assessment after the unit was taught. I administered a pre and post-assessment each quarter and the post-assessments always showed improvement across all classes.
